The positive environmental impact of the OriSTeeL© concept

In 2020, OriSTeeL France management decides to only use "'GREEN' STEEL", made from recovered steel, processed exclusively in electric furnaces, thus contributing to the reduction in the volume of carbon released in the atmosphere. (No ore, no blast furnaces). Some countries, such as Morocco, have made this choice for the manufacture of steel.

a)- From the start of the study, in August 1999, this environmental impact was at the heart of the concept. b)- During the 19 years of R&D that followed, the OriSTeeL© and SYSCERA© concepts have entirely evolved around this requirement, without fail. c)- First of all, the study of machines, tools and unfolded sheet metal had to meet very demanding specifications. The very design of unfolding tools and unfolder frames is an important source of energy savings. d)- For the consumption of the steel of the unfolded sheets, the economy had to be pushed to its maximum. e)- In 2012, not satisfied with the previous result, the steel consumption of this sheet was able to be reduced by 30%, which is considerable, without removing anything from its original characteristics. 30% less steel, but same final weight and dimensions, which remains incomprehensible to many, but in reality quite logical. f)- For tools, cutting and unfolding, maximum standardization of parts has allowed great savings. g)- For machines and unfolders, the same remedies have brought the same effects, saving energy for their manufacture and use. h)- Particularly in-depth studies have been carried out for the reliability of all this equipment, a guarantee of energy savings. g)- Ultimately, more reliability, less maintenance = financial savings for the customer, and energy savings for the planet.

SYSCERA© lightweight concrete, a great source of savings. a)- For SYSCERA© lightweight concrete, the same optimization studies were carried out. b)- 30% less water used per m3 of concrete compared to other concretes on the market. c)- No gravel or aggregates in SYSCERA© lightweight concrete, and it's good for the planet. d)- Manufactured as needed on the construction site itself, the OriSTeeL system avoids waste. e)- The insulation integrated into OriSTeeL© lightweight concrete replaces other materials to be added to the walls = source of savings. f)- The injection of 10 to 15m²/h of finished walls, roofs, partitions and slabs allows rapid construction, therefore economical, therefore less polluting, therefore more profitable.
